In May, I was invited to lead a percussion performance with Rockin’ 1000, a musical collective that performs in stadiums all over the world, playing the most famous rock songs with a band of 1,000 musicians. I came up with the idea of doing an impromptu “Call & Response” between myself and the 150 drummers available, and we performed it on the spot, live with no rehearsal. The team loved it, and we have since reached over 1,000,000+ views on Facebook! Following my success, I am now working with the team to come up with a new concept to bring to São Paolo, Brazil in October of this year.
